Adding Physical Card to a Digital Wallet

Disclaimer: If you are a part of the San Francisco CalFresh Emergency Aid program, this does not apply to you. 

Physical GiveCards cannot be added to digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay unless you also have a virtual card.

That said, you can continue using your physical card in the following ways:

  • In-store purchases: Use your GiveCard anywhere prepaid cards are accepted. You can swipe, insert, or tap your card.

  • Online shopping: Enter your card details at checkout.

  • ATM withdrawals: If allowed by your program, you can withdraw cash at ATMs.

  • Money orders: Some programs permit using your GiveCard to purchase money orders.

  • Money transfer services: You can link your card to services like Venmo or PayPal to send money.
