I’m expecting a refund/reversal

If you’re expecting a refund to your GiveCard, please note the following important details:

  • Reversals and Refunds depend entirely on the merchant and their bank: GiveCard has no control over the processing times. These times are determined by the merchant and their payment processing system. Your GiveCard is always open to receive this funds and are applied to your balance instantly.

     

  • Refund/Reversal Processing Time: Refunds/Reversals may take up to 30 days to process. This depends on the merchant and their bank.
  • Request a Receipt: Always ask the merchant for a receipt or proof of the Refund/Reversal. This will serve as documentation in case there are any issues with the Refund/Reversal or if it doesn't appear on your card.

  • Check Your Account:
    Monitor your GiveCard account regularly to ensure the Refund/Reversal has been credited. If you don’t see it after the expected processing time, follow up with the merchant for more information.

Important Note: Refunds/Reversals can sometimes take longer depending on the merchant’s policies and the payment processor they use. Always keep your receipts and reach out to the merchant first if there are any delays.
