1. Log in or create your GiveCard account, you will be able to find the decline reason in your transaction history. If you have notifications turned on you will receive an email with the decline reason.
2. Confirm the card is Active and unlocked and has enough balance for the purchase (include taxes/holds/tips) you can do this by logging in or creating an account at givecard.com/support, (if your card is frozen or expired please contact a support agent or reach out to your program for more information).
3. Check your program rules—some programs restrict certain merchant types.
4. Verify the merchant accepts prepaid cards. Partial payment acceptance depends on the merchant.
5. If asked for a billing address, use the billing address shown in your GiveCard account.
6. Transferring funds to other platforms, such as Apple Cash or Cash App, is not supported.
7.As a security measure, our system blocks transactions: made outside the United States, with international merchants, if too many are attempted within a short period of time, or if they are deemed suspicious.
